What is a control point, and how do I create one?

A control point is a precise, stationary, visible reference point that easily and quickly ensures the accuracy of your project data between sessions. The base SitePoint records its position relative to the control point. This allows you to set up the base quickly (and not necessarily in the exact same location), while ensuring your project data is accurate between sessions.

The first time you create a project, you will be prompted to create a control point. Place your survey pole precisely at your control point location and confirm it in the app. The next time you use that project, you will be prompted to identify that same control point. Place your survey pole precisely on that same location and confirm it in the app. After that, your project plan data will be correctly localized.
