How do I change the elevation/height on my project?

The Benchmark feature enables you to manually update your project’s display elevation from the default NAV88 (Sea Level) to site-specific heights. Any point on your project can be set as a benchmark. Once you set the benchmark, the app will adjust all other displayed heights relative to that value.

Common Uses:

  • Set a reference elevation (e.g., make a point = 100.00 ft so everything reads relative to it). This is useful if you need to dig or grade relative to a known point rather than using sea level elevation.

  • Correct small offsets in sea level data:

    • Example: If NAVD88 shows 420.00 ft but the surveyed value is 421.35 ft, set a benchmark to 421.35 ft.

How to set a Benchmark

  • Select or create a point that you want to assign the elevation height to.

  • Select Set benchmark

  • Enter the height of that point
